This photo album documents the First Responder Workshop held in Swakopmund on 4–5 September 2025 at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Land Reform. The two-day workshop focused on building practical skills and shared understanding for seabird emergency response along Namibia’s coast.

The images capture training sessions on African Penguin conservation, first responder roles and responsibilities, seabird rescue and stabilisation, handling and transport, admissions and recordkeeping, and preparation for disease and pollution events, including avian influenza and oiled wildlife response. The workshop brought together practitioners and partners committed to strengthening a coordinated national response to seabird emergencies.
