The NIMPA+ project aims to enhance the management of Namibia’s marine protected areas, focusing on the sustainable use and conservation of marine resources. Our mission is to improve these vital areas’ ecological health while simultaneously boosting coastal communities’ economic well-being through sustainable development practices and effective marine resource management. The NIMPA+ Project is driven by clearly defined goals and objectives designed to ensure the sustainability and resilience of Namibia’s marine ecosystems. Management Enhancement: Develop and implement a new management plan, zoning and regulations, and a financing plan for improved MPA governance. |
